Melissa’s passion for supporting people with I/DD began over 25 years ago when she began working with children with autism. Watching milestones and goals, large and small, be accomplished and the pride that accompanied those successes sparked a desire to continue to help bring that joy to others. Melissa plans to use her background in grant writing to help develop programs and bring financial support to AHF.

Tanner has been in the I/DD and autism field for 13 years. He loves working in this field because it gives him a chance to witness people taking opportunities that can better their lives. Being part of Amanda’s Heart Foundation is an extension of his values, and he hopes to reach even more lives in a positive way and ensure every person we serve receives the support and resources they need to thrive.

Autumn brings a unique and compassionate perspective to AHF, drawing from her personal experience in supporting someone with a disability. Her firsthand understanding of the challenges individuals and families face allows her to connect with our community on a deeply personal level. Her empathy, combined with her organizational skills and dedication to our mission, makes her an invaluable asset to our team. She is passionate about making a positive impact for those we support!

Michael-Patrick (MP) Buckley loves working in this field because it allows the opportunity to change someone’s life- not just the lives of those he works with, but people’s lives around him as well. He believes acquiring an instant sense of compassion, forgiveness, and understanding upon coming into this field is unlike that of any other. It shapes you into a new person who can help inspire other people to fuel their growth as a person.
